I noticed that when ships are HIGH or too Low form the Grid its impossible to find them on the map. this makes it impossible to attack hostiles if you can't find them or you ships are limited to 2D movement unless target to move to in the mix.
this is a normal thing every player deals with. this happens when a large battle is made and the victor has left over units able to stay in system so its impossible to reclaim. I suggest that sight is better above and below or Scan devices on some ships that have lower DPS or Superdreadnoughts (because it takes alot of CP anyway and its huge it should have the Tech on it to be able to see far.
well you need to stop thinking in 2d. Just sends scouts in all directions to find the enemy.
Keep in mind we are still balancing. Also i dont think expensive units should be able to do everything other wise smaller units will not be needed.

no I mean sometimes the targets are so high(or low) even "scouts" can't see them. and I can't force more my units up or down

have you tried using M to reset the grid? or have you tried using F to cycle into no-focus mode and used the arrow keys to navigate?

you can use page up and page down to move the grid. You can use n to tilt the grid. You can use rocks as points too... This game is 3d.
